A German military delegation on Wednesday were briefed on the Special Royal Guard Command’s tasks and duties and reviewed the key achievements and developments in the training areas.
During their visit, the delegates conducted a field tour to the Command’s museum, which showcases the historical stages and developments of this elite formation.
Visiting the Royal Guard Special Training School, the delegation learned about its training programs, tailored to suit the military specific tasks and then toured the facility’s training fields.
Touring the Honor Guard Group and the Guard Engineering Unit, the delegates attended a field demonstration engaging silent infantry drills.
The delegation was also briefed on the machinery and equipment used in carrying out special engineering missions, Petra news agency reported.
Concluding the visit, the delegation praised the level of “training preparedness and proficiency” of the Jordanian Special Forces’ personnel, as well as the “high level of professionalism” demonstrated in carrying out various military activities and missions.
Meanwhile, a Pakistani military delegation also visited on Wednesday the Royal Jordanian Naval Force and Crafts Command, where they were welcomed by its Commander.
They were briefed on the operational tasks and duties, and the progress of training and logistical programs carried out by the Naval Force’s command within its area of responsibility.
The visiting team toured the Maritime Operations Center and the Jordan Unmanned Systems Operations Center (JROC), and viewed the marine radar system for day and night surveillance, as well as advanced surveillance devices using artificial intelligence.
