Under the Patronage of HRH Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, the first International Symposium on Air Defense (ISAD 2020+)

, will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 17 to 20 April 2011, at the Air Defense Forces Institute (www.isad2020.org.sa/english)

The Symposium is organized by the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces, in collaboration with Defense IQ (a division of IQPC).

Main Sponsors of ISAD 2020+ include: Raytheon, MBDA, Thales, Lockheed Martin, Rheinmetall, and Cassidian.

Confirmed Exhibitors to-date include: Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, DCNS, Ericsson (Jaffali, KSA), and RGTS.

Over 150 Officers of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces, as well as hundreds of guests from both the Middle Eastern and International Military Forces shall attend this event. In addition, over 50 papers from leading International Military figures on matters related to Air and Missile Defense shall be discussed.
