The Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) and the U.S. Army Ground Forces (AGF) started Tuesday a joint exercise, titled Falcon Claws 4, currently held in the Northwestern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The exercise aims at strengthening military relations between the two countries and exchanging expertise and concepts, in addition to raising combat readiness to face external threats, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Meanwhile, the joint and mixed air exercise (Tuwaiq 2) maneuvers started Sunday at the Middle Sector, in the presence of King Salman Air Base Commander Major General Pilot Mohsen bin Saeed Al-Zahrani (photo) and heads of participating delegations.
The exercise, set to last for two weeks, witnesses a great participation by a number of Arab countries, including Oman, UAE, Jordan, Egypt, in addition to Kuwait and Bahrain, as observers.
