Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense, met Wednesday in Riyadh with Minister of Defense of the Republic of Iraq, Juma Inad Al-Jubouri.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and cooperation in the defense field, in addition to discussing issues of common interest, in order to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly countries, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.

Earlier, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom o Saudi Arabia, made a phone call Tuesday to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.

During the call, HRH Crown Prince inquired about the health of the Iraqi Prime Minister following the cowardly terrorist act that targeted his country, wishing him, wishing him continued health and wellness.

HRH Crown Prince stressed the Kingdom’s support for the Iraq, its government and people.

For his part, the Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his thanks to HRH Crown Prince for his noble brotherly feelings, which reflect the strength of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
