Thales has been awarded a contract by the Kuwait Ministry of Defense for the supply of navigation aids at its two major air bases, Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base and Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The contract is part of the country’s continuing modernization of Navigation Surveillance capabilities, and is aimed at ensuring airbases can continue to offer all - weather tactical, en-route navigation and approach services conformant to the highest Safety ICAO standards and provide safety and efficiency in the Kuwaiti Airspace.
Thales has been a partner to Kuwait Ministry of Defense for over 25 years.
