Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Tuesday with Jordanian Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Mahmoud Freihat.

During the meeting, they discussed several issues of mutual interest, mainly military aspects, and ways of developing and promoting Kuwaiti-Jordanian military relations, Kuwait’s official news agency KUNA reported.

Meanwhile, Sudanese President Omar Hasan Al-Bashir and his accompanying delegation left Kuwait last Wednesday, ending an official visit to the country.

He was seen off at the airport by HH the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, in addition to other officials from the state, the army, the police, and the Kuwait National Guard.
