Kuwait Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Bandar Al-Muzain toured the country’s Air Defense base, and praised the level of readiness by its members.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense said that Al-Muzain was briefed during the visit. The briefing included a thorough explanation of the procedures followed, along with a comprehensive assessment of the degree of readiness of Kuwait Air Defense. The statement added that Al-Muzain stressed on the importance of working tirelessly to protect the country.
In another development, Kuwait Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Bandar Al-Muzain received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kuwait Morino Yasunari. Japanese Defense Attaché to Kuwait accompanied the Ambassador. They discussed topics of common interest, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Lieutenant General Al-Muzain later received the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in the Middle East, Lieutenant-General Martin Sampson, the Army said in a press statement.
