Indra Wins Oman Airport Deal

Oman has awarded Spain's Indra Sistemas a 44.85 million-rial ($116.5 million) contract to supply and install air traffic control management systems for the sultanate's airports, an official said on Wednesday.
"The contract includes voice communication equipment, software and data management system for all of Oman's airports", the tender board official said.
Indra Sistemas beat bids from US' Raytheon, France's Thales Air Systems, and Selex Sistemi Integrati of Italy.  
Oman is expanding its airports in Muscat and Salalah as well as building new ones in Ras Al Hadd and Sohar.
