Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh Hamed Al Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) arrived to Muscat Sunday (photo) on an official visit lasting several days.

The guest and his accompanying delegation were received upon their arrival at A’Seeb Air Base by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief-of-Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), several senior SAF Officers and the Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Muscat, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

In another development, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Interior, arrived in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Saturday.

Upon arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, he was received by Algerian Minister of Interior, Local Government and Regional Planning Kamel Beldjoud, Saudi Ambassador to Algeria Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Busairi and a number of senior officials, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

On Sunday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria received in Algiers the visiting Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the Algerian President, wishing the government and people of the Republic of Algeria of steady progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and the existing security cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
