Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received Tuesday Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief-of-Staff of Pakistan’s Navy (photo).
The two sides exchanged views on several matters of common interest, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at Oman’s Ministry of Defence also received in his office the visiting Chief-of-Staff of Pakistan’s Navy.
The two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries and exchanged views on some matters of mutual interest.
Both meetings were attended by Commodore Tarik Issa Al Raisi, RNO Senior Staff Officer, Commodore Ali Mohammed Al Hosni, Director of Administration and Human Resources, and the Military Attaché of Pakistan’s Embassy at Muscat.
For his part, Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief-of-Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison the Chief-of- Staff of Pakistan’s Navy.
The two sides exchanged views and reviewed several military matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Commodore Tarik Issa Al Raisi, RNO Senior Staff Officer, Commodore Ali Mohammed Al Hosni, Director of Administration and Human Resources, and the Military Attaché of Pakistan’s Embassy at Muscat.
Prior to leaving the Sultanate of Oman, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief-of-Staff of Pakistan’s Navy visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
The guest was accompanied during the visit by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and the Military attaché of Pakistan’s embassy at Muscat.
The Pakistani guest was greeted upon his arrival by Commodore Sayyid Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the MSC.
The guest toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties. He was also briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the maritime environment.
