The activities of the military drill “Falcon Talon 1/2024” kicked in Muscat Sunday. The exercise is conducted by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) with its different air bases and with the support of the Sultan’s Special Force (SSF).

This military drill comes within the framework of the RAFO plans to sustain preparedness and in a bid to achieve its goals in line with RAFO’s national duties, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

In another development, Major General Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) handed over diploma degrees for graduates of the Sultan Qaboos Military College. He also felicitated top performers among the cadet officers.

The ceremony took place last week at the military parade grounds in Al Murtafaa Garrison during RAO celebration in passing out of cadet officers, university officers and limited service officers.

The event was attended by several senior officers at the RAO and other military and security units, a number of military attachés of embassies in Oman and parents of graduates.
