The parallel program themed “Climate Change and Net Zero” kicked off Sunday at the National Defence College (NDC) in the Sultanate of Oman.
The program aims to highlight the national strategy and national program for net zero emissions. It also sheds light on best practices, sustainable solutions and national priorities in a bid to achieve net zero emissions.
Further, the first day’s program included a lecture on the “National Strategy for Organized Transformation to Net Zero” delivered by Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The program will run until 23 May 2024. It is held within the framework of the NDC’s role in enhancing the leadership skills and abilities of several government officials as well as Senior Officers at the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and other military and security units.
