BAE Systems has strengthened its office in Qatar with a series of key appointments.
Michael Bentinck, Vice President – Qatar, has moved from heading up BAE Systems’ office in Kuala Lumpur. Michael is supported by a core team that includes Holly Smith, Business Development Executive - Middle East, and Matthew Heald, Business Development Executive, Military Air Solutions - Typhoon Mission Support & International Programs.
Martin Bennett, Regional Vice President - Middle East, will continue to oversee the Qatar office.
“As a priority market in the Middle East, BAE Systems is already well-established in Qatar, however as the nation continues on its path to rapid growth and modernization we felt the time was now right to increase the size of our team to support our commitment to Qatar,” stated Michael Bentinck.
“Our key priorities will be to work more closely with the Qatari Armed Forces as well as progressing partnerships with key Qatari academic institutions to help in building Qatar’s educational base particularly with respect to science and technology,” he added.
