During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing and developing them.
They also discussed a set of issues of common concern, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Le Drian and his accompanying delegation also met Tuesday Qatar’s Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters of common concern, especially the regional developments.
They also discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the French Ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier and a number of Senior Armed Forces Officers.
