Qatar’s Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, met in Doha on Sunday with visiting UK Defense Procurement Minister, Philip Dunne, and his accompanying delegation (photo), Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

Talks during the meeting focused on military relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.

Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces Major-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al Ghanem attended the meeting along with a number of senior Armed Forces' officers from both sides.

Meanwhile, Major General Pilot Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem met on Monday with the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia Drago Lovric and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed the military cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Croatia, as well as issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by senior officers of the armed forces.
