The Chief-of-Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim has reaffirmed that the Qatari forces taking part in the Saudi-led Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen, were performing their duty fully as required, and were giving dearly for the cause, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Speaking after participating in the funeral prayers of the three martyrs of the State of Qatar, the Chief-of-Staff said the martyrs had contributed to raising their country’s name high as we have always been thought in the Qatari Armed Forces.
He offered sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.
On 12 September, the Qatari Armed Forces announced the martyrdom of three of its soldiers during the line of duty within the Arab coalition forces for restoring hope in the Republic of Yemen.
In a statement, the Qatari Armed Forces mourns with great sadness and sorrow Martyrs of Duty Mohammed Awad Salim, the soldier Mohammed Daoud Khayal, and the soldier Mohammed Nasser Mohammed, who died while performing their duty within the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.
The Qatari Armed Forces expressed sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.
