Crisis and Emergency Management Conference

The National Emergency Crisis & Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that the Third Edition of the Crisis & Emergency Management Conference (CEMC 2012) will be held at the Fairmont Hotel, Abu Dhabi on January 16-17, 2012.
Organized by the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA), this conference is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the NCEMA Board of Directors.
HH Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed has underlined the importance of organizing conferences such as CEMC to enlighten and inform officials in emergency and crisis management about the latest developments in the international arena in the best ways to deal with crises.
CEMC 2012 offers participants the opportunity to access the latest lessons learned and the international expertise sharing insights into emerging best practice in organizing and preparing for alleviation, response and recovery in the face of emergencies and disasters.
The conference will gather key decision-makers from across a spectrum of UAE government organizations such as the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, Armed Forces, CNIA, Ministry of Telecommunications, as well as senior officials and counterparts in the GCC crisis and emergency management community.
CEMC 2012 will feature a two-day conference featuring over a dozen briefings by high-level decision-makers and international subject matter authorities, around 6 rounds of networking sessions supported by an exposition from key private sector partners, and 2 carefully crafted workshops to facilitate further in-depth discussion and learning on current issues of core interest.
