INEGMA is organising the Gulf Defence Conference (GDC) - the Official Conference of IDEX 2013 - that will take place on 16 February, 2013.

GDC is held under the distinguished patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

GDC is fully supported by the UAE Armed Forces and forms an integral part of one of the most important international gatherings of the defence and security community in the GCC.

Reaching beyond the standard discussions, GDC presentations will drill down into the most pressing strategic issues faced by today's military leaders across the globe. With sessions focusing on the coming shifts in land warfare, transformations in air power and the future face of maritime operations GDC will offer a unique opportunity for keeping up to date with the latest emerging trends in defence and for networking with peers.

GDC will take place on the day prior to the opening ceremony of IDEX 2013 on Saturday, 16 February, 2013.

The conference will bring together a world-class speaker panel to share leading edge insights across a host of key issues and draw in over 400 senior decision-makers from dozens of visiting delegations and senior industry executives.
