Under the official support of UAE Naval Forces, INEGMA will organize the most important naval conference this year under the title of the Gulf Naval Commanders Conference (GNCC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE on November 6, 2013.

GNCC will bring together key partners from navies and industry partners for a day of high level insights and discussions on naval warfare and defense.

GNCC will gather more than 350 senior delegates including Commanders, flag officers, and senior industry executives for an exchange of expertise and emerging thinking on core issues in naval defense and strategic maritime security.

The objective of GNCC is to serve the regional naval community with a platform for knowledge sharing and developing partnerships between friendly nations and private sector partners.

GNCC will explore strategies and approaches to complex naval environments with a technology-centric focus that includes dedicated high level discussions on capability development and integration for multinational and coalition operations, and force readiness.

A special emphasis will be placed on addressing approaches to asymmetric naval warfare, mine countermeasure operations, and the use of unmanned vehicles in naval operations.

The meeting will also draw on lessons learned and results from the latest international naval exercises in the region which have brought together dozens of naval forces to prepare against common threats under a variety of operational scenarios.
