Airbus at Dubai Airshow 2013

Airbus, is demonstrating its leadership in innovation with the world’s most modern range of aircraft families, products and innovative services on show at the newly located Dubai Airshow (17- 21st November) at the Dubai World Central.
As well as air displays by an A380, a full size A350 XWB cockpit mock-up, and exhibits will include product demonstrations through ipad applications, and videos on smart luggage, cabin comfort, innovation on board Airbus aircraft and technology that is helping to make aviation more efficient and sustainable.
In the static display area, visitors will be able to see an Emirates Airline A380 (photo) all week, an Egyptair A330-300 between 19th to 21st November, and a Qatar Airways A330-200F between 17th to 19th November. In addition, Airbus will display several military aircraft. Members of the ACJ family (ACJ318, ACJ319) will also be on display for the duration of the show.
A second A380 MSN4 which is part of Airbus’ test fleet will take part in flying displays from Sunday 17th to Tuesday 19th November.
Meanwhile, Airbus Military will exhibit the A400M new generation airlifter (photo), A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport, and C295 medium transport and surveillance aircraft.
The show is the first time that the A400M will be displayed in the Gulf, reflecting the company’s strong belief in the importance of the event and in the A400M’s outstanding suitability for the air forces of the region.
All three aircraft will be in the static park and can be visited by arrangement, and the A400M will perform in the flying display every day of the show.
The A330 MRTT, the world’s most advanced aerial tanker, is one of three operated by the UAE Air Force and Air Defense.
Additionally, an Airbus Military C295 medium transport of the Royal Air Force of Oman will be on static display throughout the show. More than 20% of all C295 orders have come from the Middle East and North Africa and the aircraft, as well as the smaller CN235, is well proven in the operating conditions of the region.
