At last week’s Dubai Airshow, Global Aerospace Logistics, LLC (GAL) and Eurocopter renewed their customer support services distribution agreement (photo).
GAL is an Abu Dhabi-based supplier of professional aerospace maintenance services and support for the UAE, and the continuation of this agreement with Eurocopter further enhances it as a provider of routine and urgent customer support services for the UAE Joint Aviation Command - including new spare parts, repairs, training and technical publications.
“Having proven itself as a strong member of the Eurocopter team, we are pleased to renew the agreement with GAL as we consider GAL an integral part of our network of customer support services providers. This partnership also confirms Eurocopter’s commitment to the local UAE market in order to serve all governmental and civil operators of its helicopters” said Olivier Lambert, the Eurocopter Senior Vice-President for Sales and Customer Relations,
“This is a very good example of how Eurocopter and GAL continue to meet the daily operational needs of the Joint Aviation Command, ensuring efficient and effective fleet maintenance of the Ecureuil, Fennec, Dauphin, Panther and Super Puma helicopters operated in the Emirates,” he added.

Meanwhile, Eurocopter and Falcon Aviation Services of Abu Dhabi also renewed their maintenance support services agreement at the Dubai Airshow.
Falcon Aviation Services was formed in 2006 under the initiative of HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, with the goal of filling gaps in the local aviation market through the provision of innovative products and services.
With its main operating base at the UAE’s Al Bateen Executive Airport - a leading VIP airport located 10 km. from Abu Dhabi’s city center - Falcon Aviation Services is well positioned to accommodate the region’s Eurocopter helicopter operators.
