The ceremony began upon the arrival of Sheikh Mohammed at the college headquarters. Following the playing of the UAE national anthem, Sheikh Mohammed inspected the graduates on parade. Graduating cadet officers then took an oath before Sheikh Mohammed.
Sheikh Mohammed presented the top eight cadet officer graduates with appreciation awards, congratulating them and wishing them success in serving their country, Emirates’ News Agency (WAM) reported.
Following the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed stood for a group photo with the graduates and expressed his pride in the graduates of Zayed II Military College and their commitment to serving their homeland. He assured them that they are able to do their patriotic duty to the fullest because of the potential and energies they possess and the sincere care given to them by the UAE's leadership.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Pilot Staff-Brigadier Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National and Reserve Service Authority, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, along with a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
