During the meeting, the two officials discussed aspects of cooperation and ways of bolstering and promoting this cooperation, UAE national news agency WAM reported.
They also discussed a number of military matters of mutual interest.
A number of senior Armed Forces officers attended the meeting which was held at Al Rumaithi's office.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Mohammad Khaled Al-Kheder on Tuesday also discussed with visiting British Minister of State for Defence Procurement Philip Dunne bilateral military cooperation, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The Kuwaiti Army's Directorate of Moral Guidance said in a statement that both sides stressed that the two countries are keen on strengthening and developing bilateral ties.
The Kuwaiti Army's Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Genera; Abdullah Nawaf Al-Sabah and senior officials also were present in the meeting.
