H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President’s Representative, attended the graduation ceremony of the 33rd batch of university graduate officers at the Zayed II Military College in Al Ain, UAE’s national news agency WAM reported.
H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region; H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defense Affairs; Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; Major-General Pilot Sheikh Ahmad bin Tahnoun bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National and Reserve Service Authority; Dr. Khalid bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Sultan bin Zayed Culture and Media Centre, and a number of other Sheikhs and senior officers, attended the event.
In his welcoming remarks, Brigadier Saif Ali Al Yamahi, Commander of the College, thanked the UAE leadership for its unequivocal support to the college which requires from them more dedication and sacrifice to address contemporary challenges and changes, and keeping abreast of the latest trends with more determination, knowledge, and double the effort and diligence.
Sheikh Sultan then honored the outstanding graduates, congratulated them and urged them to adhere to noble ethics, courage and be proud of their nation.
