Rear Admiral Ibrahim Salim Mohammad Al Musharrakh, Commander of the UAE Naval Forces, received Tuesday the UK’s Royal Navy Admiral Sir Philip Jones KCB ADC, First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, they exchanged friendly talks and discussed matters of mutual interest, especially in the areas of maritime cooperation between the two sides, UAE national news agency WAM reported.

Earlier this week, Qatar’s Chief of Staff Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim met with U.K. First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Sir Philip Jones.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations in the fields of military cooperation and ways to develop them, according to Qatar Press Agency (QNA).

The meeting was attended by Commander of Emiri Naval Forces Major General Mohammed bin Nasser Al Mohannadi.
