Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, received Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador of France to the UAE, in the presence of Matar Salim Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defense.

During the meeting, Al Bowardi welcomed the French Ambassador, praising UAE-France diplomatic relations, Emirates News Agency WAM reported.

The two sides also discussed bilateral ties and ways to strengthen them for the benefit of both countries, as well as exchanging views and discussing a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defense and the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces.
