Abu Dhabi Police Conduct Joint Exercise in South Korea

The Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, conducted a joint tactical drill with the Special Forces Unit of South Korea in the Korean capital, Seoul.

The exercise included descending from buildings and helicopters, tactical shooting, storming buildings and rescuing hostages, according to Emirates news agency WAM.

Colonel Khalil Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Deputy Director of the Patrols Directorate who is leading the ADP in South Korea, underlined the keenness of ADP to train its personnel according to best international standards, stressing the importance of joint exercises in developing police capabilities and facilitating knowledge transfer and exchange of expertise.

The exercise was attended by Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea, and a number of Korean senior officers.
