Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Oman’s Minister of Interior received in his office Monday Dr. Mohammed Ali Koman, Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council (photo), during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on topics scheduled for discussion in the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, in addition to reviewing ways to develop joint Arab security cooperation in various security fields.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Major General Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
For his part, Lt. Gen Hassan Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs also received Dr. Mohammed Ali Koman, Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed some topics of common interest and discussed means of enhancing cooperation among member states of the Secretariat General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
In another development, Qatar Amiri Guard Commander HE Lieutenant-General Staff Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani on Monday met at Barzan Camp with Oman’s Military Attache to Qatar Staff Colonel Ahmed Khamis Al Salehi on the occasion of assuming his new duties.
The two sides discussed military cooperation and ways to boost them, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Senior Amiri Guard officers were in attendance.
