The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and its counterpart in the Republic of Turkey have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance joint cooperation and exchange of experiences, skills and training in the field of air safety between the two countries.
The MoU was signed after a session of bilateral talks, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
In a statement Wednesday, GACA said the two sides will work closely as set forth in this MoU items in order reach a common understanding of the laws, regulations, standards and conditions in both countries.
The MoU was signed for the Qatari side by Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey, and for the Turkish side by Director General of Civil Aviation Authority Haydar Yalcin.
