Otokar, the global land systems manufacturer of Türkiye, received an export order for its 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicles worth around $136 million, including spare parts, maintenance equipment, and training services. The deliveries are planned to be initiated in 2023 and completed within a year.

Thanks to Otokar’s combat proven know-how in land systems and related R&D, engineering and testing capabilities, nearly 33,000 Otokar military vehicles are actively in service in more than 40 countries and nearly 60 end users in different climates and geographies around the world.

Being a listed NATO and UN supplier, Otokar armored vehicles are preferred especially for their superior mobility, protection levels and survivability.

Otokar, a Koç Group company, has been providing solutions special to the needs of the customers with its own technology, design and applications since 1963. It is operating with 2942 employees at the factory built on a land of 552,000 m2 in Sakarya.

Otokar has been manufacturing buses for public transportation, light weight trucks for transportation and logistics industry, and tracked armoured vehicles and tactical armoured vehicles for the defense industry.
