Elettronica Spa announced that it has completed the acquisition of Solynx Corporation, a company based in Salem, New Hampshire (USA) in which it was already a shareholder.

Solynx is a high tech procurement and technological scouting company which will increase opportunities for ELT Group to identify new technology trends and turn them into an enrichment of its offerings to the market. In 2023, Solynx has increased its order intake from €5 million to €12 million, a growth also confirmed in the next budget.

“We are very pleased to have completed the acquisition of Solynx Corporation. This acquisition is part of the internationalization process of ELT Group, which now also has a stronger presence in the U.S. market,” said Domitilla Benigni (photo), Chief Executive Officer of Elettronica.

For more than 70 years, ELT Group has been a world leader in Electronic Defense systems. Thanks to innovative management of the electromagnetic spectrum, achieved through proprietary and integrated technologies, today the brand is an international group with a multi-domain approach that also covers cyber, space and biodefense.

Via experience gained through participation in major European defence programmes including the Eurofighter Typhoon combat aircraft, the FREMM and PPA warships, today ELT Group is present in more than 30 countries with over 3000 systems supplied. The company is also participating in projects to develop the sixth-generation Global Combat Air Programme.

ELT Group is headquartered in Italy but has a presence in eleven countries on three continents through sales offices and companies of strategic importance and local law in Germany and Saudi Arabia. Also part of the ELT Group are CY4GATE, which specialises in cyber security and cyber intelligence, while E4Life is Italy’s first biodefence company.
