The General Command of the Egyptian Armed Forces is keen to exchange scientific and practical experiences and support research activities between the Armed Forces and various Egyptian universities to achieve the highest levels of fruitful cooperation in various scientific fields.
Within this context, Major General A. Abdel Hamid Sayed Ahmed, Director of the Chemical Warfare Department, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, signed a cooperation protocol, the Egyptian Armed Forces said in a statement.
The protocol aims to achieve mutual benefit from the scientific and technical cadres and laboratory and research analysis systems for both sides. This will contribute to keeping pace with the successive development in various fields, through implementing joint training courses, seminars, conferences, workshops and field visits to maximize the benefit from expertise in areas of common interest.
The protocol signing ceremony was attended by a number of leaders of the armed forces and a number of Fayoum University officials.
