Held under the patronage of HRM King Abdullah II of Jordan and supported by the Jordanian Joint Special Operations Command, the 6th Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC) is the official conference of the Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX).

MESOC will take place on May 7, 2012 at the Le Royal Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The conference is expected to gather over 500 delegates from Special Operations Forces and industry partners.

MESOC will feature briefings from Special Operations Forces Commanders coming from diverse countries including Iraq, Jordan, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Tanzania and Australia.

The MESOC 2012 briefings will cover a spectrum of topics such as:

  • The Evolution of Special Forces in Capabilities and Mission
  • Role of Special Forces in Modern Urban Warfare
  • Special Forces in Combined Military Operations
  • Mobility & Firepower in Enhancing Special Operations
  • Scope of Special Operations Missions in Counter-Piracy
