Saudi Arabia’s Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili met Tuesday in Riyadh with the Italian Minister of Defense’s Advisor for Military Industrial Policies, Retired First Lieutenant General Enzo Vicarelli (photo), and his delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations in defense industries, as well as opportunities for further development and strengthening of these relations to serve the interests of both countries. They also talked about various topics of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

For his part, Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Biyari also met in Riyadh with the Italian Minister of Defense’s Advisor for Military Industrial Policies and his delegation.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in defense fields and discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in defense industries in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ministry of Defense Undersecretary for Armament and Procurement Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al-Suwayed.
