Chief of the Kuwaiti Army Staff Lt General Bandar Al-Muzain affirmed on Thursday that Kuwait’s Army is the ultimate shield and deterrent against internal and external challenges, underscoring the main goal of maintaining peace and stability in the country.
This came in a statement following Muzain’s inspection tour of the 15th Armored Brigade (Mubarak) and the 94th Mechanized Brigade (Saleh Mohammed).
During his visit to the 15th Armored Brigade, Muzain reviewed the types of training and exercises conducted, as well as the Brigade’s future plans, modernization programs and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of its officers and soldiers.
At the 94th Mechanized Brigade, Muzain was briefed on the latest tasks and duties carried out under the Brigade’s approved training and qualification programs, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The Lieutenant General commended the members of both Brigades for their high levels of competence, as he expressed his wishes for their continued success, urging them to spare no effort in honoring their oaths and pledging loyalty to HH the Amir, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and HH the Crown Prince.
In another development, Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Lieutenant General Eid Al-Shalawi visited Kuwait’s Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College last week.
The Chief of Staff stated in a press statement that the Assistant Commander of Mubarak Al-Abdullah College for Joint Command and Staff, Brigadier General Abdullah Khalaf, received the Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Cooperation Council and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of his visit to the country.
The team listened to a detailed briefing on the mechanism of the educational process, the curricula, lectures and exercises provided by the college to students from friendly countries during the training season.
