Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Commander of the United States Air Forces Central Command Lt. General Joseph T. Guastella (photo) and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Defense Minister Lt. General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed Lt. General Joseph T. Guastella and his accompanying delegation, lauding bilateral relations of friendship and their steady growth mainly in the military field, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Catering and Supply Rear Admiral Yusef Ahmed Malallah, Commander of Royal Bahrain Air Force Air Vice-Marshal Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sadah and BDF senior officers.
Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) also paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit and got updated on its military preparations and equipment. He listened to a briefing about the unit’s missions and got informed about its combat and administrative readiness.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief stressed the BDF achievements thanks to the national force’s sound bases since its foundation. He asserted that the BDF local and regional accomplishments are the dividends of the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. He also underlined the need to continue implementing ambitious plans to further boost the BDF combat and administrative readiness, urging more dedication to achieve forecast goals.
