The National Defence College (NDC) of Oman held Wednesday a graduation ceremony for the 8th national defense course under the auspices of Sayyid Badr Hamad al-Busaidi, Foreign Minister.
Senior officers from the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Royal Oman Police (ROP), military and security departments, as well as senior officials from the ministries, government civil authorities and institutions took part in the course.
The course was organized amid full adherence to precautionary and preventive measures against Covid-19, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The chief guest and attendees watched a documentary about the 8th course and its three-semester program covering theoretical studies, practical applications and local visits relevant to the study program.
Then, the chief guest handed over certificates to the participants in the course, and winners of individual prizes on scientific and research papers at the level of the course. Colonel Abdul-Kazim Ibrahim al-Ajmi from the Royal Army of Oman was awarded for the best graduation research while Dr. Rashid Obaid al-Kaabi from the Public Prosecution Department was honored for the best national security policy paper.
