Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, arrived Thursday evening in the Republic of Singapore on a state visit.

Upon arrival at Changi International Airport, Prince Abdulaziz was 
received by Singaporean Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sam Tan, 
Saudi Ambassador to Singapore Saad Al Saleh and a number of officials, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

On Friday, Prince Abdulaziz met with Singapore’s President Halimah Yacob (photo).

During the meeting, the Saudi Minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to the President.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations as well as the latest developments in the international arena.

The Saudi Minister also met with Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest.

Furthermore, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met with Singapore’s Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Law Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam.

During the meeting, they discussed means of coordination and cooperation between the two countries.

Lastly, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz received the Minister of Communications and Information, Minister Responsible for Muslim Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Dr. Yacoub Ibrahim.

At the beginning of the reception, Dr. Yacoub expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, for providing of great services to Islam and Muslims around the world.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest.
