Milipol Qatar, the international event for homeland security and civil defense, will be held from 26 to 28 October 2020 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.

The worldwide exhibition of homeland security – Milipol – has been organized for the first time in 1984 in Paris and occurs every odd-numbered year. In 1996, the State of Qatar chose the Milipol trademark for its international references to launch an event dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East.

Qatar is a fast-developing country with growing security and technology requirements for future projects such as the Qatar Metro, FIFA World Cup 2022, New Hamad Port… in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The 13th edition of Milipol Qatar exhibition is being held under the authority of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.

Milipol Qatar is organized by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar and the French-based Comexposium Security. A Milipol Qatar Committee is responsible for the organization of the event in Doha in close relationship with the Milipol team based in Paris.

Milipol Qatar is known for the professionalism and the quality of attendees, for showcasing the latest innovative products and services and for covering all fields of public and industrial security.

 

In 2018, the show welcomed:

  • 8,487 security professionals from 101 countries
  • 314 official delegates representing 48 countries
  • 352 journalists

 

From 2018, Milipol Qatar incorporated the Civil Defense Conference and Exhibition, to become the Global Security and Safety Event.

In 2018, the total value of deals that were declared during the 3 days of the exhibition reached 572.5 Million Qatari Riyals.

Defense specialists from Qatar, France, Turkey, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Spain, Morocco, UK, and USA, as well as 7 new countries that include Greece, India, Latvia, Morocco, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland brought in their innovations to Milipol Qatar 2018 in various fields such as public security, defense solutions and equipment, telecom security and technologies, firefighting, radiation detection, emergency equipment, law enforcement products, communications software, airports security systems and more.

Milipol Qatar 2018 also included five country pavilions – including UK, Germany, Italy, France and North America with 90 exhibitors from Qatar – with a 30% space bigger than in 2016.
