A delegation from the Milipol Qatar Committee at the Ministry of Interior visited the 16th International Defense Industry Exhibition (IDEF 2023) which concludes in Istanbul today, as part of the marketing campaign for the Milipol Qatar exhibition, scheduled for late October 2024.

The delegation, which included Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee Major General Nasser bin Fahd Al-Thani, and member of the Committee Brigadier Saud Rashid Al Shafi, was briefed on the latest scientific and engineering innovations and developments in security systems and safety equipment, Qatar News Agency (QNA

Milipol Qatar is a leading international event for homeland security and civil defense. Milipol - has been organized for the first time in 1984 in Paris and occurs every two years. In 1996, the State of Qatar chose the Milipol trademark for its international references to launch an event dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East.

The Milipol Qatar exhibition is being held every even-numbered year under the authority of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani. The next edition is scheduled will take place from 29-31 October 2024.

According to the Organizers (IMEXPO), in 2022, Milipol Qatar welcomed 222 exhibitors from 22 countries (of which 8 are new), 11,500 visitors from 84 countries, 389 Official Delegates from 33 countries and 587 journalists.
