Saudi Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Yousef Al-Benyan patronized the graduation ceremony of the International Aviation Technical College (IATC) in Riyadh, in the presence of senior officials.
A total of 1,291 Saudi trainees graduated in the 2024–2025 training year, specializing in aircraft maintenance engineering. They were trained to the highest international standards, with an 85% employment rate in leading civil and military aviation entities.
The IATC’s outcomes reflect its role as a leading training institution in preparing and developing national talent for effective and professional entry into the labor market. It has earned local and international accreditations, recognizing the quality of its training programs and their alignment with global best practices, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The IATC currently hosts its first cohort of female trainees, who are undergoing training in aircraft maintenance engineering and are guaranteed a 100% job placement rate, supported by strategic partnerships with leading entities, including Riyadh Air and several other national companies.
It maintains its leadership by offering the Kingdom’s first diploma program in unmanned aircraft systems engineering and maintenance, reflecting its responsiveness to future demands and the evolving labor market.
Since its launch in late 2014, the IATC has graduated more than 8,800 trainees. Its current capacity has grown to over 4,500 male and female trainees as part of ongoing efforts to bridge the gap in qualified national talent in the field of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
