Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) crews started flight training on their first A330 MRTT with Airbus Military instructors at the Airbus Military Getafe facilities in Spain earlier this week (25th October).
This will allow the crews to qualify for Air Logistic Transport and Air-to-Air Refueling with pods and boom.
Colonel Pilot Mashhour Bin Abdallah Al Burikan, RSAF A330 MRTT 13th Flying Wing Commander, and Lt Pilot Khaled Bin Abdallah Al Majed, whose photo was taken inside the RSAF A330 MRTT cockpit, and the rest of the RSAF Aircrew will be training with Airbus Military over the next two months.
This training will prepare the first A330 MRTT delivery to the RSAF to take place next month. Next RSAF MRTT aircraft deliveries are scheduled for 2012.
