The Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghafili (photo), headed the Ministry of Defense delegation to the International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 2023) held in in the Republic of Korea on 07-09 June.

MADEX 2023 is organized by the Republic of Korea Navy, Republic of Korea Marine Corps, Busan Metropolitan City, Korea International Trade Association, Association of the R.O.K. Navy, Busan Marine Equipment Association, Kyungyon Exhibition Corp., and BEXCO

The Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and his accompanying delegation toured the exhibition and got acquainted with the various pavilions and platforms of companies specialized in maritime defense, in addition to the latest systems and modern defense technologies, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

On the sidelines of the MADEX, Lieutenant General Al-Ghafili met with South Korean Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup, along with several heads of the delegations of the participating brotherly and friendly countries.

Moreover, he also met with the Chief of Naval Operations of the Republic of Korea Navy, Admiral Lee Jong-Ho with whom he discussed cooperation and joint coordination in the military and defense field and ways to enhance it, in addition to discussing several issues of common concern.
