Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Korea Shin Won Sik and his accompanying delegation in Doha on Tuesday.

They discussed topics of common interest between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

The Ministries of Defence in both countries also sealed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the Qatari-Korean joint committee on defence cooperation, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

For his part, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit attended the opening of the second edition of World Defense Show 2024, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 04-08 February.

More than 773 exhibitors from 75 countries participated in the show. The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces was accompanied by a number of senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces.
