Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) HE Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabet visited Norway and met Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Norway Anne Marie Aanerud. The two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and the ways to enhance cooperation.

The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces also met Chief of Defence of Norway General Eirik Kristoffersn. During the meeting, they discussed topics of mutual interest and the ways to enhance military relations between the two countries.

Qatar’s Ambassador to Sweden and Norway HE Nadia bint Ahmed Al Shibi attended the meetings alongside a number of Qatar Armed Forces Senior Officers, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

Furthermore, the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE visited Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace Group, and met Chief Executive Officer of the group Geir Haoy.

Both sides discussed topics of mutual interest and the ways to enhance and develop them. During the visit, the chief of staff was accompanied by Qatar’s Ambassador to Sweden and Norway HE Nadia bint Ahmed Al Shibi and a number of Qatar Armed Forces senior officers. (TNN)
