Raytheon Saudi Arabia announced the appointment of Sultan Almorqi as Managing Director. Almorqi will be responsible for driving Raytheon Saudi Arabia’s business strategy in the Kingdom, focusing on program execution and fostering partnerships to accelerate localization and industrial participation. Raytheon is an RTX business.
“Sultan’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the Saudi defense and technology landscape make him the ideal leader to advance our long-standing partnership with Saudi Arabia,’ said Chander Nijhon, Vice President of Strategy and International at Raytheon.
“We are confident that his leadership will enhance our commitment to contributing to the Kingdom’s industrial base and delivering the advanced solutions that support national security,” he added.
Almorqi joins Raytheon Saudi Arabia from Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), where he served as Vice President of its Advanced Electronics Division. With nearly three decades of experience, his career spanned key roles across government and industry, in the fields of research, development, and innovation, with a particular focus on defense technology programs of strategic importance to the Kingdom.
