The growing Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and explosive (CBRNe) risks represent real threats to the safety and stability of populations. It has never been more important to anticipate and provide detection, protection and decontamination solutions to face these threats.
The 2022 edition of Eurosatory will welcome more than 30 exhibitors from the CBRNe sector. Eurosatory is a trade fair dedicated to the land and airland defence and security sectors. World number 1 in its category today, Eurosatory will be held from 13 to 17 June at the Parc des expositions of Paris-Nord Villepinte.
The expansion of legal and illegal trade channels has facilitated access to weapons containing CBRNe materials. These ever-increasing threats and the risk they represent to populations and the environment are leading many states to strengthen their CBRNe preparedness. For example, we have seen the impact of chemical weapons in the Syrian conflict, the wave of panic caused by the anthrax envelopes in the United States, and currently the tension caused by the nuclear risk due to the war in Ukraine, which is taking place in the middle of nuclear power plants.
In view of the very high worldwide demand in this field, Eurosatory 2022 gives military, civil and industrial security officials, security forces, specialised units and all professional visitors the opportunity to meet CBRNe experts, industry leaders and operators.
A technology cluster dedicated to this highly important sector will be run by Eurosatory’s partner IB Consultancy. Visitors can discover the world of the NCT PRO Experience and, for the first time, try on CBRNe gear. Prior booking/validation is needed.
Visitors can also discover the daily Live Civil-Military CBRNe Training demonstrations by end-users at the exhibition’s live demonstration area. It will showcase the capabilities of civil and military first responders.
In addition to these high-level training demonstrations, defence and security professionals will have the opportunity to discover CBRNe solutions on the area of HELPED by COGES Events (Humanitarian Emergency Logistic Project and Eco Development; French capability demonstrator for response to multiform crises), a first multiform crisis management demonstrator.
