During the ongoing Euronaval Show (Paris, 25-29 October 2010), Lockheed Martin (LM) is highlighting some of its major programs, including:
  • The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and LM's international variant design, the Surface Combat Ship (SCS). Last month, LM submitted its final proposal to the U.S. Navy on the LCS competition and hopes to hear the results in the near future. Additionally, the affordability and design of LCS has garnered international interest.
  • MH-60 Romeo which is a rugged, proven aircraft that operates regularly and successfully in tough marine environments. The multi-mission capabilities of the aircraft are flexible enough to fulfill the rigorous maritime missions of our allies and we have work underway with various international customers.
  • Aegis Combat System moving ashore: LM recently received a contract to begin work on Aegis Ashore, which will provide the same protection to inland areas that the Aegis Combat System provides at sea.
