As the heir of a multi secular national industry, Nexter remains one of the European leaders of land defense. Today, the Nexter group masters a wide range of land defense systems and equips more than a hundred armies all over the world.

From 10 to 13 September 2013, Nexter Group will display a wide range of products, from armored vehicles (VBCI) to its full offer of ammunition and equipment from its subsidiaries.

As an important asset of the French Army during the Afghan, Lebanese and Malian theatres, the 8x8 Infantry Fighting Vehicle VBCI (photo) will not only be exposed on Nexter booth (N8-160), but also on the static display where a conference dedicated to the VBCI during the SERVAL Operation will be held by the French forces.

Nexter Munitions will present its entire range of products from medium to high caliber ammunition. Nexter equipment will have their own booth (N7-460) and will showcase some of the most innovative products from our group: Nexter Mechanics with Syegon®, the Central Tire Inflation System, and Safepro®, the protected seat; NBC-Sys and its protection systems against NRBC threats; Nexter Robotics (land and air-land robots) with the NERVA® robot; Optsys (optomechanical and optoelectronic systems) which will unveil for the first time its new technological demonstrator, “Optsee”; Nexter Systems with its battle management system, FINDERS C2®.

On the second day of the show, because innovation is at the core of Nexter’s DNA, and that the group has continuously created new references in defense throughout its history, Nexter will unveil its brand new system with a great show on its booth.

Nexter applies its expertise in land defense systems to meet the needs of the French army and other forces internationally. The scope of its business includes the supply of weapons systems and munitions for Army, Air Force, Navy and law enforcement applications.

In 2012, Nexter reported revenue of Euros 742 million, of which 18% were allocated to Research & Development.
