Défense Conseil International (DCI) and MBDA France have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote capacity-based training for the benefit of countries friendly with France.
The agreement, which is focused on MBDA systems, will make it possible to make global proposals including provision of services, consultancy, training, operational assistance and, where required, simulation.
DCI’s offering, based on the transfer of French military know-how to friendly countries, features high added value and complements MBDA’s offering which is centered on the design of missiles and missile systems.
In this way, DCI and MBDA will leverage the synergy between their respective offerings by combining their expertise in a coherent, complementary manner.
In coordination with the French defense procurement agency DGA and the relevant authorities, DCI and MBDA will mainly propose to their customers:
- Training for units and operational command structures
- Support for the establishment of operational procedures
- Operational maintenance training
- Training in system usage and maintenance
- Permanent or occasional technical support
This joint approach is based on a strong desire to offer complete solutions combining doctrine and training prior to equipment selection.
“The agreement we are signing today reflects MBDA’s constant focus on providing customers with a best-cost offering covering the full range of services associated with missile sales: systems, support, maintenance, end-of-life processing and, of course, training,” declared MBDA CEO Antoine Bouvier.
“From this point of view, DCI is a key partner for us with respect to our export customers, due to its in-depth knowledge of the procedures and doctrines concerning the use of French equipment,” Bouvier added.

“This guarantees maximum satisfaction for friendly countries since they can more rapidly take operational control of the new systems, allowing them to reinforce their defense capacity,” he added.
